Our slogan, “Ed uscimmo a rivedere le stelle,” inspired by Dante Alighieri's immortal verse that closes the Inferno and opens to a new hope, embodies our renewed spirit of determination and dream of an ever-brighter future.
This season's ticket campaign is filled with innovations and features a dynamic and engaging communication format developed in collaboration with one of the most followed media companies in the football world: “Chiamarsi Bomber - HUB Creativo.”
This journey towards the future would not be complete without our fans. We invite the entire city of Ravenna to join us in this exciting project. Matteo Mandorlini's contract has been renewed

Ravenna FC is pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached with Matteo Mandorlini for his continued stay with the club. Having joined mid-season last year, Matteo will now be available to coach Antonioli from the start and will begin preparations with the rest of the team, bringing a wealth of experience that is unrivaled in the category. He is poised to become a key figure in Ravenna's midfield. After wearing the jerseys of prestigious clubs such as Padova, Brescia, and Spezia, to name a few, Matteo will once again contribute his leadership and charisma to achieving Ravenna’s ambitious goals in the upcoming season, playing for the team of his hometown.
The Stages of the Giallorossi Pre-Season
Pre-Season Schedule for Ravenna FC
The new season is approaching, and excitement is building to see Ravenna FC in action for 2024/25. While we await the finalization of the league groups and the complete fixture list, the giallorossi staff has planned the initial commitments to ensure the team is ready for the championship. The first official training session with the full squad is scheduled at the Glorie sports center on the morning of July 26. However, the giallorossi players will already be active starting the afternoon of July 24, when they will begin athletic tests divided into groups. After three days of training, the team will move to the Hotel Miramonti in Acquapartita on July 29, where they will stay until August 9 for a training camp, conducting double training sessions. Ten days of peaceful work will be crucial for solidifying the group and fostering cohesion.
In parallel with the physical preparation, the first fixtures have been planned. On August 3, there will be a training session with the mountain representative, followed by a match against Sampierana on the synthetic pitch of San Piero in Bagno on the afternoon of August 7. From August 10, preparations will return to Glorie in anticipation of the first official friendlies. The giallorossi will face the national team of San Marino on August 10 at 18:00 (venue to be confirmed), while on August 14, they will play against Clodiense, newly promoted to Serie C, at F.lli Ballerin in Chioggia. After a few days of rest following this intensive first phase of work, the giallorossi will return to action on August 21 for a triangular tournament organized by Pol.Reno, followed by another friendly scheduled for August 24 in Adria against the local Serie D team.
Agreement signed with Fosso Ghiaia for the C.S. Vaienti
Ravenna FC and Fosso Ghiaia are pleased to announce the renewal of their partnership for the shared management of the G. Vaienti sports center, marking an important step towards an increasingly fruitful and future-oriented collaboration. Ravenna FC, as the center's main tenant, has agreed to allow Fosso Ghiaia to use the facility for its activities, while continuing to make the sports center a key base for the yellow-red youth sector’s operations.
This partnership reflects a mutual commitment to promoting sports and football at the local level, providing an ideal environment for the development of young talent from the Ravenna FC academy. At the same time, it activates synergies with local clubs, establishing the center as a reference point for the entire Ravenna province.
Fosso Ghiaia will manage the day-to-day operations of the sports center in line with the guidelines set by Ravenna FC, ensuring efficient and organized use of the facility. This collaborative approach will optimize resources and offer a high-quality service to all users of the center.
Moreover, Ravenna FC is committed to funding a series of significant upgrades to the structure, aimed at providing a more welcoming and functional environment for athletes, staff, and families. The planned renovations will create a stronger sense of identity and engagement for the center’s users. These improvements represent a tangible investment in the future of the sports center and the wider football community.

Bucci and Fresia Join Ravenna FC
Two Under Additions for the Giallorossi Defense and Goal
Ravenna FC 1913 is pleased to announce the signing of Bernardo Bucci and Gabriele Fresia.
Bernardo Bucci, a central defender born in 2006, joins us on loan from Trestina. In the past season, he made 30 appearances and scored 1 goal, earning a call-up to the Serie D Representative team that competed in the Viareggio Tournament.
Gabriele Fresia, a goalkeeper born in 2005, arrives from Vado. He began his career in the Sampdoria youth system and has since made 60 appearances for Vado, keeping a clean sheet 25 times and contributing to back-to-back playoff victories in the last two seasons.

The New Staff of the Giallorossi Youth Sector
The process of revitalizing the giallorossi club is significantly shaping the summer of 2024, with all club sectors involved in laying the groundwork for the ambitious project envisioned by the new ownership. A crucial aspect of this revitalization concerns the youth sector, whose structure has been completely overhauled to meet new challenges and ambitions. At the helm of this new direction are two methodology coordinators chosen by Davide Mandorlini: Federico Turchetta and Giulio Pastecchia, who will oversee the project. Their focus will be on creating an identifiable and vertical pathway within the youth sector.
The principles and guidelines for the youth sector and the entire giallorossi staff are clear and deep. As outlined by Mandorlini at the press conference, these principles aim to make Ravenna the top choice for all local young players. The foundational philosophy centers on the development and growth of the player not only from a technical or physical perspective but also in terms of personality, how they handle situations on and off the field. Values, identity, and a vision that extend beyond on-field results will help form players who can progress to the first team.
To achieve these goals, the methodology will embrace multidisciplinary aspects related to psychology, communication, pedagogy, and neuroscience. It will be supported by a team where coaches are in constant evolution to foster learning and provide the best educational path for the players. Open-mindedness, a continuous desire for growth, and curiosity are the key traits sought in the coaches, who will be introduced to the players' families in the coming days.
The vision for football training is global, aiming to educate players within the complexity and depth of the sport while recognizing a clear identity. Joining Turchetta and Pastecchia in this journey is Lorenzo Dadina, confirmed as the performance area manager, who has been coordinating the physical preparation of the young lions for years.
Regarding the youth sector composition, this will be a new path, starting from the previous season's squad and allowing players to test themselves with this new methodology. For future integrations, the new scouting area manager, Massimo Paciotti, is already active. He and his team will be responsible for identifying promising talents to be included in the giallorossi youth system, working ethically and in collaboration with local clubs—a synergy that is essential.
Completing the managerial framework of the structure are two organizational managers: Federico Masotti for competitive activities and Sandro Bonfiglioli for grassroots activities. The sports secretariat will include Sara Gobbi, Clara Geminiani, and Mariateresa Santaguida.
Francesco Manuzzi Returns to the Giallorossi

Ravenna Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of striker Francesco Manuzzi. Born in 1994, Manuzzi previously wore the giallorossi jersey for three seasons, initially joining as a young attacking midfielder in the Promotion league and rising through the ranks to Serie D. His career has since taken a different path; having transformed into a forward, he has become one of the most prolific strikers in Serie D, scoring in double figures for the last four consecutive seasons. He returns to Ravenna with the ambition to maintain these impressive statistics and lead the team towards prestigious goals!

Andrea Venturini returns to Ravenna FC
The defender, fresh off a championship win, returns to wear the giallorossi colors
Ravenna Football Club is pleased to announce the return of Andrea Venturini. The central defender, who can also play as a right-back when needed, finds his ideal role as a center-back in a three-man defense. This marks a return to Ravenna for Venturini, who was a key player in the team's Serie D title-winning season of 2016/17 and subsequent Serie C campaign.
Following this experience, he enjoyed a successful career in Serie D and Serie C with teams such as Rimini, Mantova, Pistoiese, Fidelis Andria, and Alcione Milano. With the orange-clad team, he was instrumental in winning the most recent championship.
Venturini will reunite with coach Antonioli and two former teammates from that Ravenna squad, Paolo Rrapaj and Davide Mandorlini, who is now the giallorosso Sporting Director.
