Ravenna FC donates equipment for the humanitarian emergency in Gaza.
Numerous sportswear items from past seasons were delivered to the Italian Red Cross, Ravenna Committee ODV: they will be distributed to the population affected by the humanitarian crisis.

Ravenna Football Club has launched a concrete solidarity initiative by donating a selection of sportswear no longer in use, coming from both the first team and the youth sector. The aim is to support families in need in the Gaza Strip and across the country through the humanitarian network of the Red Cross and other partner organizations.
Tracksuits, match jerseys, shorts, and other sports equipment in excellent condition were collected by the club and handed over to the Italian Red Cross – Ravenna Committee ODV, which will handle the logistics and subsequent distribution on-site through its national and international channels.
The initiative stems from Ravenna FC’s desire to give unused equipment a concrete purpose, turning it into a gesture of support for those living in a state of ongoing emergency. A simple yet meaningful action that reflects the club’s commitment to solidarity and social responsibility.
“We believe that football should go beyond the pitch and also serve as a tool for civic engagement. This donation is a small gesture of concrete support for those experiencing a dramatic situation, but also a way to remind everyone how sport can help build bridges, not barriers,” said General Manager Paolo Scocco.
Also pleased with this collaboration is the President of the Italian Red Cross – Ravenna Committee ODV, Claudio Angeli:
“We are honored to have been chosen as the recipients of this generous donation. This gesture represents not only an important vote of confidence in the Red Cross but also recognition of its ongoing humanitarian commitment.
The Red Cross, as the world’s largest humanitarian organization, works daily to provide assistance, hope, and solidarity to those who need it most. We are sincerely grateful for the trust placed in us and look forward with enthusiasm to the possibility of future collaborations in service of the community.”
