Piacenza and Ravenna without goals, but the yellow-reds complain
Scoreless draw at Garilli: Ravenna more dangerous, but Piacenza's fortress holds firm

Il Ravenna returns from Piacenza with just one point, after a match in which they deserved a bit more. The 0-0 result at Garilli leaves some regret for the yellow-reds, who dominated the second half but were stopped by an outstanding Franzini and a questionable incident at the end.
The first half struggles to take off, with few noteworthy chances. Piacenza is the first to threaten Fresia’s goal with a header from Ruiz Giraldo following a cross from Palma, but it misses the target. Ravenna responds with a nice volley from Lo Bosco that goes over the crossbar. The home team tries again with Recino, whose speedy run ends with a shot that goes off target. On the opposite side, the yellow-reds become dangerous with a diagonal shot from Lo Bosco and a powerful effort from outside the box by Rrapaj that just grazes the post.
In the second half, Ravenna increases the pace and quickly comes close to taking the lead with Manuzzi, who from just a few steps away fails to find the goal while in a precarious balance. Piacenza tries to respond on the counterattack with D’Agostino, whose diagonal shot goes wide. From that moment on, it’s a one-sided affair in favor of Ravenna: Biagi shoots high from a good position, Di Renzo breaks through with speed and shoots, forcing a save from Franzini, then Milan and Guida also try their luck, but the Emilia goalkeeper remains vigilant.
In the end, Franzini confirms himself as the best player on the field with a magnificent save on D’Orsi’s close-range header. In the 90th minute, a controversial incident occurs: Guida enters the area and is challenged by Andreoli, but referee Lotito, positioned just a few steps away, allows play to continue amid the protests from the Roma players.
With this draw, Ravenna extends its positive streak, but must continue to chase Forlì, which remains victorious and is now +2 in the standings. The race for the top spot is still wide open.
THE SCORELINE:PIACENZA - RAVENNA FC 0-0
PIACENZA: Franzini, Zucchini, Recino, Corradi (58’ Anreoli), Tentoni (71’ Muhic), D’Agostino (86’ Stefanoni), Somma, Iob, Palma (86’ Del Dotto), Napoletano, Ruiz Giraldo. available: Di Giorgio, Casazza, Sambou, Delmiglio, Castelli. Coach: Stefano Rossini

Piacenza - Ravenna: high-stakes challenge at Garilli
The yellow-reds away against a Piacenza in search of points for survival

After an intense and satisfying week, Ravenna is preparing to return to the field for one of the most challenging matches of the championship. On Sunday, the yellow-reds will be guests of Piacenza at the Garilli Stadium, in a match that promises to be hard-fought in every aspect.
The home team is experiencing a season well below expectations. After winning the playoffs last season, like Ravenna, Piacenza started with the ambition of fighting for promotion, but the results have never lived up to the premises. The team has gone through a troubled period, with a change in the coaching position between coach Rossini and the subsequent takeover by Carmine Parlato, which did not bring about the hoped-for change in momentum. The club has therefore decided to reappoint Rossini, in the hope of reviving a journey that currently sees the white and reds involved in the battle to avoid the playouts.
Despite the difficulties, Piacenza remains a formidable opponent. On paper, the squad is one of the best equipped in the category, with experienced and high-quality players like Recino, D’Agostino, and Palma, who are capable of making a difference at any moment. Moreover, the need for points to distance themselves from the danger zones represents an additional motivation for a team that will give their all in front of their home crowd.
On its part, Ravenna comes into this match with great enthusiasm. Coach Marchionni’s team has solidified its position at the top of the standings thanks to two convincing home victories: first, a 4-0 win against Imolese in the league, and then a 2-0 victory over Lavagnese in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semifinals. The giallorossi now aim to end this week on a high note, seeking to secure another three crucial points in their pursuit of the final objective.
On the training front, there are no updates on the unavailable players, but Lordkipanidze is back available after serving his suspension. The midfielder is vying for a starting spot, ready to take Ilari’s place, who is sidelined after the injury sustained against Imolese.
Great anticipation in the stands as well: about 250 Giallorossi fans will travel along the Via Emilia to support the team. This is another sign of the passion that accompanies Ravenna this season, in a match that promises to be intense and full of emotions.

Winning Strategies, Strong Bonds: Ravenna FC meets its partners
Winning Strategies, Strong Bonds. The team spirit at the heart of the event dedicated to the yellow-red sponsors.

The Ravenna FC welcomed its partners at the Mercato Coperto for the event “Winning Strategies, Strong Bonds,” a moment of discussion and sharing aimed at strengthening the relationship between the club and its network of sponsors. A day dedicated to mutual growth, where football was reaffirmed as a powerful tool for visibility and promotion for the companies involved.
The meeting was opened by Vice President Ariedo Braida, who emphasized the value of football as an extraordinarily effective promotional vehicle, capable of providing global media coverage. He then highlighted how Ravenna FC is pursuing an ambitious project, destined to grow over time, just like the business entities that accompany it.
The CEO Mattia Baldassarre outlined the club’s new digital strategies, with a particular focus on the development of the official app, designed to provide innovative tools for partners and enhance interaction with fans. This initiative aims to maximize commercial opportunities and make collaboration between the club and companies even more effective.
The General Director Paolo Scocco wanted to thank all the partners for the passion shown towards the Ravenna FC project, defining it as the true driving force that allows the club to push beyond its limits. He then reiterated the importance of investing in facilities and the youth sector, which must represent the beating heart of the club’s growth.
The intervention of Lorenzo Zitignani, Head of Fan Relations, highlighted the positive impact of the new ownership, which has been able to bring enthusiasm and participation back to the city. The increase in spectators in the stands and the growing sense of belonging among fans are signs of a sports and cultural revival that Ravenna FC is nurturing with commitment and passion.
In terms of sports, the Sporting Director Davide Mandorlini wanted to emphasize that, beyond the extraordinary results achieved on the field, the true victory lies in the return of children to the stadium, the pride of those who wear the yellow and red colors, and the strong city identity that this new management is consolidating.
Following this, the Communication Manager Luca Zignani presented the growth metrics of the social media channels, stadium attendance, and the club’s media coverage. These data confirm a positive trend and suggest further room for improvement, especially thanks to the ability to engage new generations through digital channels.
Stefania Miscioscia’s speech, Head of Sponsorships, emphasized the value of human relationships within the Ravenna FC network. The collaboration between the club and companies goes beyond a commercial agreement; it transforms into a shared growth journey, where mutual trust is the key to achieving concrete results.
The closing of the day was entrusted to President Ignazio Cipriani, who reaffirmed his deep connection to Ravenna despite the years spent abroad. His speech served as an invitation to look to the future with ambition: the path taken is just the beginning of a project destined to grow, fostering increasing enthusiasm in the city.
After a delicious buffet lunch, the day concluded with B2B meetings among the sponsors, a valuable opportunity to create synergies and develop new collaborations. Once again, teamwork proved to be a winning strategy, both on and off the field.

Ravenna FC, vincente poker contro l’Imolese.
Yellow-reds overwhelming in the second half: 4-0 and top spot confirmed

The Ravenna FC secured a decisive victory against Imolese, winning 4-0 at the end of a match that took a decidedly favorable turn in the second half. It was a game that initially seemed challenging for the yellow-reds, due to the difficult moment of their opponents and some absences in Marchionni’s squad, but it confirmed the strength and depth of a team built to be competitive until the end.
Yet, the start of the match was anything but simple. Imolese came out strong, with an aggressive approach that put Ravenna in difficulty from the very first minutes. In the 1st minute, Vlahovic immediately posed a threat with a shot from the edge of the box that forced Fresia into a great save. Shortly after, it was Augustin’s turn to try with a low shot that was once again stopped by the agile yellow-red goalkeeper.
Ravenna struggles to find space and impose its own game, but takes advantage of the first real opportunity. In the 29th minute, a well-executed corner by Rrapaj and Ilari finds Rossetti ready to head the ball. Dall’Osso’s unfortunate deflection puts Adorni out of position and gives the home team the lead. The goal shifts the balance, but the first half ends without further incidents, with the giallorossi ahead by a narrow margin.
In the second half, the script changes radically. Marchionni’s team returns to the field with an extra gear and takes just one minute to double their lead: Rrapaj delivers a precise cross for Biagi’s head, who gives no chance to the red-and-blue goalkeeper.
L’Imolese takes a hit and Ravenna gains full control of the match. In the 56th minute, Ilari becomes the protagonist of a spectacular play: with a series of elegant dribbles, he weaves through the opposing defense and deposits the ball into the net for the 3-0. Unfortunately, the midfielder suffers a muscle problem during the goal action and is forced to leave the field.
The Ravenna does’nt stop and continues to push. In the 65th minute, Lo Bosco, after coming close to hitting the crossbar just a few minutes earlier, provides a perfect assist for Rrapaj, who with a precise left foot seals the final score at 4-0.
The last minutes are pure academia, with Ravenna managing possession of the ball and calmly heading towards the final whistle. With this victory, the yellow-reds continue their journey tied with Forlì at the top of the standings.
The only sour note of the day is Ilari’s injury, the extent of which will be assessed in the coming days.

Challenge to Benelli: Ravenna FC ready to face Imolese.
An important test for the giallorossi, who want to maintain their winning streak

The Ravenna FC is preparing to host Imolese for a new match day in a championship that promises to be intense and captivating. The giallorossi, currently at the top of the standings tied with Forlì, aim to confirm their good form and continue their journey with maximum determination. Every point counts in a balanced championship like this year’s, and the challenge against Imolese represents another important step in the pursuit of seasonal goals.
The two teams have a long history of encounters in Serie D, and in the 2016-17 season, they were indeed protagonists in the battle for the championship title. Today, they find themselves with different objectives: Ravenna wants to remain among the contenders for the top spots, while Imolese, coming off seven matches without a win, is in search of a result that could reignite their season.
Despite the absences of Lordkipanidze (suspended), Nappello, Mereghetti, Drapelli, and Amoabeng (injured), the squad built by sporting director Mandorlini offers quality solutions that allow coach Marchionni to manage these situations effectively. A positive note comes from the return of Guida, who has recovered from the flu and is back training with the group. The young defender Busato, born in 2004, the latest addition from the winter transfer market, is also available.
The team has shown itself to be compact and ambitious, but nothing would be possible without the beating heart of the giallorosso fans. The presence and warmth of Ravenna supporters will be crucial against Imolese, as every cheer from the stands is a decisive boost for the players on the field.
