Defined several incoming moves for the under-21 slots
Five new arrivals and one confirmation at Ravenna FC
Just a few days before the start of training, Ravenna FC 1913 is pleased to announce several agreements regarding the under-age players, as required by the 2024/25 Serie D regulations, which stipulate that teams must always have at least three players born in 2004, 2005, and 2006 on the field. To complete the goalkeeping department, Matteo Galassi, born in 2005 and raised in Cesena’s youth system, joins the team. Last season, he was the starting goalkeeper for Adriese, making 33 appearances and keeping 11 clean sheets in his first season in the senior league.
Young right-winger Nicolò Sancinito, born in 2006, joins on loan from Genoa. After progressing through the youth ranks of the Grifone, Sancinito is now set to face his first season “in the senior league”. In the previous season, with Genoa’s Primavera 1, he made 25 appearances, scoring 1 goal and providing 1 assist. On the right side of defense, Gabriele Ciuffo, born in 2005 and trained in Inter’s youth system, joins after a solid season as a starter with Varesina in Serie D, Group B. Ciuffo made 30 appearances, scoring 1 goal and providing 1 assist, and helped his team reach the playoffs.
On the left side, Leo Di Martino, born in 2005 and loaned from Avellino, joins the team. Di Martino, who was trained in Avellino’s youth system, gained valuable experience last season, winning Serie D, Group E, with Pianese. He made 13 appearances after joining the club during the winter transfer window. Also joining the left wing is Alessandro Calvosa, born in 2006, who arrives from Potenza. Last season, he gained experience in Serie D with Forsempronese, making 22 appearances. His excellent performances earned him a call-up to the Serie D representative team for the Viareggio Tournament, where he met another new Ravenna player, Bernardo Bucci.
In addition to these new arrivals, who will be immediately available to coach Antonioli, the club also confirms Giacomo Calandrini. A product of Ravenna FC's youth system, Calandrini, after progressing through the youth ranks, made a strong impression last season in the first team. A versatile midfielder, he also performed well on the wings, collecting 15 appearances and establishing himself as a reliable option for the team in the upcoming season. The club wishes these young talents the best of luck for a season of personal growth that can accompany a team journey filled with achievements.
