The Giallorossi dominate the first half, struggle in the second, but Fresia secures three valuable points in the final minutes.

Ravenna FC continues its push toward the top with a narrow but well-deserved victory over San Marino, defeating them 1-0 at the “Calbi” in Cattolica. The win came thanks to a first half of high intensity and quality, capped by Di Renzo’s goal. In the second half, the Giallorossi dropped their line, only being threatened near the end, when a miraculous save by Fresia secured the three points.
Ravenna starts the match strongly, and in the 2nd minute creates the first chance with Di Renzo, who wins the ball and breaks forward, but his pass to Zagre is slightly off target. The Giallorossi impose their rhythm and come close again with a sharp cross from Milan, on which Di Renzo just misses the decisive touch.
Marchionni’s side keeps up the pressure, and in the 20th minute it results in a triple opportunity: first Milan, then Guida, both blocked by the defense, and finally Biagi, who shoots over the bar. Ravenna is dangerous again in the 36th minute when Venturini curls a shot that forces Branduani into a brilliant save for a corner.
The goal is in the air and comes in the 41st minute: Biagi wins the ball with effective pressing, beats an opponent, and finds Di Renzo, who calmly finishes past Branduani. It’s the striker’s third goal in the last two games, allowing Ravenna to deservedly go into halftime in front after a dominant first half.
In the second half, the game takes a different shape: Ravenna drops deeper, focusing on controlling the match and no longer creating significant chances. The slim lead keeps the fans on edge, but San Marino struggles to generate real opportunities, except in the 90th minute, when Haruna finds Di Francesco with a header—the only real scare of the day. The Biancoazzurri striker’s header looks destined for the net, but Fresia produces an extraordinary save, securing both the result and the victory.
With these three points, Ravenna remains two points behind Forlì and continues its chase for the top spot. The duel will resume next week with an interesting twist in the schedule: both contenders will face the teams from Prato, keeping the promotion race fiercely contested.
