Ravenna FC prepares for the match against Zenith Prato to keep the pressure on their rivals.

Ravenna FC is focusing on their next league match, the clash against Zenith Prato, with the aim of continuing to fight for the top of the standings. Despite the Coppa Italia final against Guidonia scheduled for Wednesday in Teramo, coach Marco Marchionni and his players are ready to take the field with full determination, seeking to earn three crucial points in the last league game before the break.
The match has been moved up to Saturday to allow proper preparation ahead of the final. A victory could temporarily place Ravenna in first position, keeping pressure on Forlì high. However, the opponents should not be underestimated. Zenith Prato comes into the game with two consecutive wins, including an important away victory against Forlì, and is a real wild card, especially on the road. Simone Settesoldi’s team is in good form and will do everything possible to secure vital points in the fight for survival, following a forfeit loss to Cittadella Vis Modena due to Tempestini’s registration issue and the threat of further penalties.
For Ravenna, Saturday’s match represents the last fixture before the break and the direct clash with Forlì. There is no room for letting their guard down: the Giallorossi must give their all to avoid losing ground at the top. For this game, Marchionni will have to do without Milan, who is suspended, while injured players Mereghetti, Ilari, and Drapelli continue to train separately. Despite the absences, Ravenna will take the field with a strong desire to win, supported by their passionate fans who will ensure full backing.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the club has organized a special initiative for all female supporters: entry to the stadium will be just 1 euro for all women, providing an extra reason to enjoy the excitement of the match at the Benelli.
The appointment is set for Saturday, March 8, at 5:30 PM, when Ravenna FC will aim to continue their push toward the top of the table.
