Ravenna FC’s 2025 Sponsor Day strengthens its roots and forges new connections

Over one hundred local and national business organizations responded to Ravenna FC’s invitation, gathering on Saturday, November 22, at the Mercato Coperto in Ravenna for the 2025 edition of Sponsor Day, the club’s annual event dedicated to its giallorossi partners.

The event—meaningfully titled “The Value of Being Part of It”—offered a concrete opportunity for sharing, networking, and fostering a common vision, at a time of significant growth for the club both on the sporting and institutional fronts. The Mercato Coperto, partner of the initiative, managed the event setup and lunch buffet, providing an elegant setting deeply rooted in the heart of the city.

The day opened with a plenary session in which the club’s leadership—President Ignazio Cipriani, Vice President Ariedo Braida, CEO Mattia Baldassarre, General Manager Paolo Scocco, and Head of External Relations Lorenzo Tonetti—shared with attendees the growth trajectory of Ravenna FC and its future objectives. Presentations by Stefania Miscioscia (Head of Commercial Affairs) and Luca Zignani (Head of Communications) provided an in-depth look at the evolution of the club’s relationship with sponsors and detailed insights into the community following the club.

A remarkable aspect was the evolution of the club’s revenues: in just two years since the arrival of the new ownership under Cipriani–Black Duck, Ravenna FC has generated significant value, increasing commercial income by 223% and ticketing revenue by 320%.

It was a moment that highlighted Ravenna FC’s upward trajectory, the strategic value of sponsorship, and the central importance of the relationship with the territory and those who bring it to life.

The presence of the Mayor of Ravenna, Alessandro Barattoni, highlighted the importance of Ravenna FC as a resource for the territory: not only for its sporting results, but also for its ability to generate social and cultural value.

After the convivial lunch, the second part of the event was dedicated to B2B meetings among sponsors, designed to foster new commercial synergies and stimulate concrete networking and development opportunities—a highly attended activity that generated nearly 7,000 potential contacts among the participating organizations.

The 2025 Sponsor Day once again confirmed that being part of Ravenna FC means sharing a vision, building authentic relationships, and growing together. An occasion that strengthened the foundations of an increasingly solid, connected, and ambitious ecosystem.

Nicolas Viola is a new player for Ravenna FC

Ravenna FC announces that it has completed the registration of the player Nicolas Viola, a midfielder born in 1989, who is currently a free agent.

A player of great experience and quality, Viola boasts an outstanding career in both Serie A and Serie B, having worn the jerseys of prestigious clubs such as Reggina, Ternana, Benevento, and Cagliari, with whom he accumulated significant appearances and performances in Italy’s top leagues. A playmaker with excellent vision, superb technique, and strong personality, he brings to Ravenna a decisive added value in the central midfield.

The arrival of Viola represents an important addition for Marco Marchionni’s team, which will now be able to rely on an experienced player capable of making an immediate impact both technically and in terms of leadership. After passing his medical examinations today, he took part in his first training session with his teammates. He has chosen the number 10 jersey.

Ravenna FC wishes to thank all the clubs that participated in the meeting on October 28: a valuable moment of dialogue that confirmed the strength of the bond between our club and the city’s sports community.

To maintain this relationship, we have invited youth clubs to the Coppa Italia Serie C match Ravenna FC – Arzignano Valchiampo, scheduled for Tuesday, November 25 at 8:30 PM at the “Bruno Benelli” Stadium.

Participation Details

  • Free entry for all children and teenagers under 18 from the participating clubs.

  • One complimentary chaperone for every 15 young participants.

  • For other adults, it will be possible to purchase a Parterre ticket at a reduced price of €15.

Ravenna FC announces that, according to the provisions of the Livorno Operational Security Group (GOS), for the upcoming league match Livorno – Ravenna FC, ticket sales will be reserved exclusively for residents of the province of Livorno.
A decision that, in effect, will prevent our fans from supporting the team in what promised to be a highly anticipated match in a higher-tier setting.
The club, while not questioning the judgments made by the competent authorities, can only express regret and disappointment over a measure that will deprive the team of its supporters’ backing and deny the fans the opportunity to experience the emotions of the game live.
At such a significant moment in the season, with Ravenna at the top of the standings and enjoying an exciting run, the warmth and support of its fans represent an indispensable value.

Ravenna FC is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Terme di Riolo and Grand Hotel delle Terme, two local Romagna excellence centers that combine wellness, hospitality, and innovation.

In addition to the sponsorship, the partnership includes organizing the summer training camps for the youth teams, from Under-14 to Primavera, at the prestigious Grand Hotel delle Terme.
During their stays, the athletes will have access to an integrated program supporting their sports development, which includes inhalation therapies, vascular treatments, thermal pool sessions, and physical conditioning in the fully equipped Terme gym. The protocol, jointly developed by the club’s and the Terme’s medical teams, has been named
“Good Breathing: How to Boost Sports Performance,” aimed at combining athletic training and wellness in a truly unique environment.
