Incredible Ravenna: Epic Comeback and Sole Leaders
A heart-stopping victory: the Giallorossi overturn Zenith Prato and secure three extremely valuable points.

Ravenna FC gave the Benelli crowd a night of pure excitement, overturning a desperate situation to claim a 3–2 victory over Zenith Prato. A win that, at least for one night, sends the Giallorossi to the top of the table alone while waiting for Forlì’s response. An extraordinary comeback, crowned by a stunning goal from Guida in the 96th minute, which sent the Giallorossi fans into raptures and reignited enthusiasm ahead of the Coppa Italia final.
The start of the match is a nightmare for Ravenna, who fall behind after just 5 minutes: a run by Falteri puts the defense under pressure, with Nistri taking advantage of a short clearance to score the visitors’ opener. The Giallorossi try to react with Guida, whose header forces Brunelli into a save, and then with a dangerous cross that almost catches the goalkeeper off guard. Around the half-hour mark, Zagre breaks down the wing but is blocked at the last moment. In the 33rd minute, Fresia makes a crucial intervention, preventing a defensive mistake by stopping Falteri. However, in the 41st minute, a misunderstanding between Biagi and Mauthe leaves the goal wide open for Falteri, who dribbles past the goalkeeper and scores the visitors’ second.
In the second half, coach Marchionni reshuffles the cards by bringing on D’Orsi and Calandrini, and Ravenna shifts into a higher gear. The first signs come from Guida, whose shot is cleared off the line, and from a header by Venturini. In the 53rd minute, Di Renzo pulls one back with a superb header from a cross by D’Orsi, and in the 60th minute the same striker levels the score with a precise right-footed finish from an assist by Rrapaj. Ravenna do not settle for the draw and keep pushing in search of the winning goal. When the match seems decided, in the 96th minute Guida produces a moment of magic with a curling shot that nestles into the far post, sending the stadium into raptures.
A crucial victory that reignites the Giallorossi’s ambitions and fires up the fans ahead of the next decisive match.

Ravenna FC – Zenith Prato: A Crucial Clash at the Benelli
Ravenna FC prepares for the match against Zenith Prato to keep the pressure on their rivals.

Ravenna FC is focusing on their next league match, the clash against Zenith Prato, with the aim of continuing to fight for the top of the standings. Despite the Coppa Italia final against Guidonia scheduled for Wednesday in Teramo, coach Marco Marchionni and his players are ready to take the field with full determination, seeking to earn three crucial points in the last league game before the break.
The match has been moved up to Saturday to allow proper preparation ahead of the final. A victory could temporarily place Ravenna in first position, keeping pressure on Forlì high. However, the opponents should not be underestimated. Zenith Prato comes into the game with two consecutive wins, including an important away victory against Forlì, and is a real wild card, especially on the road. Simone Settesoldi’s team is in good form and will do everything possible to secure vital points in the fight for survival, following a forfeit loss to Cittadella Vis Modena due to Tempestini’s registration issue and the threat of further penalties.
For Ravenna, Saturday’s match represents the last fixture before the break and the direct clash with Forlì. There is no room for letting their guard down: the Giallorossi must give their all to avoid losing ground at the top. For this game, Marchionni will have to do without Milan, who is suspended, while injured players Mereghetti, Ilari, and Drapelli continue to train separately. Despite the absences, Ravenna will take the field with a strong desire to win, supported by their passionate fans who will ensure full backing.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the club has organized a special initiative for all female supporters: entry to the stadium will be just 1 euro for all women, providing an extra reason to enjoy the excitement of the match at the Benelli.
The appointment is set for Saturday, March 8, at 5:30 PM, when Ravenna FC will aim to continue their push toward the top of the table.

Ravenna FC conquers Calbi: Di Renzo seals the away win
The Giallorossi dominate the first half, struggle in the second, but Fresia secures three valuable points in the final minutes.

Ravenna FC continues its push toward the top with a narrow but well-deserved victory over San Marino, defeating them 1-0 at the “Calbi” in Cattolica. The win came thanks to a first half of high intensity and quality, capped by Di Renzo’s goal. In the second half, the Giallorossi dropped their line, only being threatened near the end, when a miraculous save by Fresia secured the three points.
Ravenna starts the match strongly, and in the 2nd minute creates the first chance with Di Renzo, who wins the ball and breaks forward, but his pass to Zagre is slightly off target. The Giallorossi impose their rhythm and come close again with a sharp cross from Milan, on which Di Renzo just misses the decisive touch.
Marchionni’s side keeps up the pressure, and in the 20th minute it results in a triple opportunity: first Milan, then Guida, both blocked by the defense, and finally Biagi, who shoots over the bar. Ravenna is dangerous again in the 36th minute when Venturini curls a shot that forces Branduani into a brilliant save for a corner.
The goal is in the air and comes in the 41st minute: Biagi wins the ball with effective pressing, beats an opponent, and finds Di Renzo, who calmly finishes past Branduani. It’s the striker’s third goal in the last two games, allowing Ravenna to deservedly go into halftime in front after a dominant first half.
In the second half, the game takes a different shape: Ravenna drops deeper, focusing on controlling the match and no longer creating significant chances. The slim lead keeps the fans on edge, but San Marino struggles to generate real opportunities, except in the 90th minute, when Haruna finds Di Francesco with a header—the only real scare of the day. The Biancoazzurri striker’s header looks destined for the net, but Fresia produces an extraordinary save, securing both the result and the victory.
With these three points, Ravenna remains two points behind Forlì and continues its chase for the top spot. The duel will resume next week with an interesting twist in the schedule: both contenders will face the teams from Prato, keeping the promotion race fiercely contested.

Ravenna FC travels to Calbi: aiming for three points against the Titans
San Marino-Ravenna FC: a tricky test following the Coppa Italia triumph

After the midweek feat against Lavagnese, which secured Ravenna FC their first-ever Serie D Coppa Italia final, the Giallorossi are back in action for the 26th league matchday. Awaiting them is San Marino, in a clash to be played on the synthetic pitch of the Calbi Stadium in Cattolica.
A match full of pitfalls awaits, both due to Marchionni’s squad needing to manage their energy after the Coppa Italia effort, and because of San Marino’s recent progress. After a difficult start under Cascione, the Biancazzurri changed pace with the arrival of Oberdan Biagioni on the bench. The experienced coach restored solidity and confidence to a team that now fights with determination for survival and, in the previous round, achieved a valuable and unexpected victory on Prato’s ground.
The winter transfer window has given new energy to the Titani, with the addition of central defender Yakubiv and, above all, striker Passewe, already with five goals to his name and a dangerous offensive reference. Ravenna will therefore need to stay highly focused, aware of the importance of securing a positive result to continue their push toward the top and keep the pressure on Forlì high.
Physical conditions are not optimal for the Giallorossi: Lo Bosco and Onofri will remain sidelined, while efforts continue to recover Amoabeng. In midfield, Ilari is still absent, whereas Mereghetti is approaching a return. A positive note comes from Nappello’s return to the group, as he will aim to regain his best form.
As always, Ravenna will be propelled by its fans. With 600 tickets available for the away section, a strong turnout of Giallorossi supporters is expected, ready to make their presence felt and drive the team in a crucial match for the continuation of the season. Their support will be essential for facing a delicate away game with maximum energy and determination.
